RESOLUTION NO. 10491
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach on August 3, 1960
entered into an agreement with PIERRE PEREZ for a period of
six months, whereby the said PIERRE PEREZ agreed to serve the
City as Latin American Representative in the Public Relations
Department, and
WHEREAs the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be for and in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach that said agreement, as the same now exists, be
extended for an additional period of six months, commencing
with the expiration date of said agreement, and to terminate
at midnight of the 25th day of July, 1961,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to executed the said agreement
extension for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach and the
disbursing officers of the City are hereby authorized and directed
to make the expenditures required in accordance with the terms
of said agreement out of the funds of the City available for such
purpose.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February, 1961.
