HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-475 H-475
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-475 Alley between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue from
Eighty-first (81st) Street to Eighty-second (82nd) Street
to be paved and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a
width of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing sur-
face on an eight (8) inch rock base.
As said Alley, Avenues , and Streets are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Four (4) , Page One hundred fifty-seven
(157) , Plat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Forty (40) , and Plat
Book Forty-one (41) , Page Two (2) , of the Public Records of
Dade County , Florida, and as said Eighty-first (81st) and
Eighty-second (82nd) Streets are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction,
legal services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-475 , and is
described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Alley
between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue , and lying be-
tween Eighty-first (81st) Street and Eighty-second (82nd)
Street .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-475 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-475 .
