Resolution 10520 RESOLUTION NO. 10520
WHEREAS, by the terms of a written agreement dated
June 1, 1958 the City is the Lessee of a store situated at
707 - 71st Street, Miami Beach, Florida, for the purpose of
use as a public library for a period of three years, and
WHEREAS the City has exercised its option for the
continuation of the lease agreement for a period of two years,
and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared a continuation
of lease agreement with the terms of which the City Council is
familiar, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of
the City of Miami Beach to execute said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said continuation of lease agreement for and in behalf of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, and the disbursing officers are
hereby directed to pay such sums out of the City funds as are
required in accordance with the terms of said continuation
agreement.
