Resolution 10534 RESOLUTION NO. 10534
WHEREAS by the terms of an agreement dated June 15,
1955 the City granted to American Legion Post #85 the"Beach
Equipment Rental Concessions" in Pier Park, South Beach Park,
Lummus Park, Collins Park, 64th Street Park, North Shore Park
and 80th Street Park, in the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS the said agreement was extended for a term
of three years by virtue of an agreement dated July 2, 1958, and
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach and American Legion
Post #85 are desirous of extending the said agreement for an
additional term of three years, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an extension
of the said agreement with the terms of which the City Council
is familiar, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of the
City to enter into the said extension agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are, hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said agreement in the name of and on behalf of the said City.
