Resolution 10541 RESOLUTION NO. 10541
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach on April 11, 1960
entered into an agreement with JOHN A. HEALEY, Jr. for a period
of one year, whereby the said JOHN A. HEALEY, JR. , agreed to
serve the City as Convention Assistant, and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be for and in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach that said agreement, as the same now exists, except
that the annual salary to be paid to said JOHN A. HEALEY, JR. by
the City shall be increased to the sum of Ten Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars per annum, be extended for an additional period
of one year commencing with the expiration date of said agreement,
and to terminate at midnight of the 10th day of April, 1962,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute the said agreement
extension for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach and the
disbursing officers of the City are hereby authorized and directed
to make the expenditures required in accordance with the terms
of said agreement out of the funds of the City available for
such purpose.
