Resolution 10610 RESOLUTION NO. 10610
WHEREAS, Agreements have been heretofore prepared by the
terms of which various hotel operators of the City of Miami Beach,
in consideration of benefits which will accrue to such operators,
have agreed to pay over to the City an amount equal to five
percent (5%) of the gross room revenue accruing to the operators
from conventions booked and held in said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of
said agreements and deems it to be to the best interest of the
City that said agreements be entered into,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute in the
name of and on behalf of said City the said agreements which
are as follows :
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Albert J.
Kalik for the Cadillac Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Herbert
A. Katz for the Casablanca Hotel, for the period
extending from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Jules
Slansky for the Crown Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Jack
Munchick for the Sagamore Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Rose G.
SCHWARTZ for the Delano Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Gerald
Granger for the Delmonico Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Michael
Steckloff for the Lido Spa (formerly Monterrey Motel)
for the period extending September 1, 1961 to August 31,
1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Gerald
Granger for the Martinique Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Sterling
Levine for the Montmartre Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Murry
Koretzky for the National Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Bernard
Edelstein, for the Pierre Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Sidney
Herbert for the Richmond Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between theCity of Miami Beach and Arthur Bant
for the Robert Richter Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Anna
Schandler for the Ritz Plaza Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Samuel
Ginsberg for the Royal Palm Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Henry L.
Morris for the St. Moritz Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Mike Bayard
for the Sands Hotel, for the period extending from September 1,
1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Morris
I Lans' urgh for the Sans Souci Hotel, for the period extending

for the Sea Gull Hotel, for the period extending from

for the Shelby Hotel, for the period extending from
September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Morris Lansburgh
for the Sherry Frontenac Hotel, for the period extending from
September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1962 ;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Lillian S.
O' Sullivan for the Shoremede Hotel, for the period extending
from September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Louis Lane
for the Traymore Hotel, for the period extending from September 1,
1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Barney Shaffer
for the Venetian Isle Motel, for the period extending from
September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Morris Lansburgh
for the Versailles Hotel, for the period extending from
September 1, 1961 to August 31, 1964;
