RESOLUTION NO. 10615
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach
Auditorium for the purpose of POP CONCERT SERIES on June 10,
June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29,
August 5, August 12, 1962; June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7,
July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4, August 11, August 18, 1963;
June 14, June 21, June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19, August 2,
August 9, August 16, 1964; June 20, June 27, July 4, July 11,
July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, August 15, August 22, 1965;
June 19, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31,
August 7, August 14, August 21, 1966, and
WHEREAS a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium and Convention Hall Manager and approved as to form by
the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be for the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the Auditorium and Convention Hall Manager is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
