RESOLUTION NO. 10618
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Cirk and
Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on August 8, 1961,
for the purpose of nominating candidates for the office of Member of
the Board of Trustees of the City of Miami Beach Employees Retirement
System to represent Group 2 of the City Employees , in accordance with
the provisions of Resolution No . 10595 , as passed and adopted by the
City Council on July 19 , 1961, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said Certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City
that it hereby adopts the said Certificate as the result of said
Primary Election, and does hereby declare the Regular Employee from
Group 2 elected to the Board of Trustees of the City of Miami Beach
Employees Retirement System to represent City Employees in Group 2,
to be as follows :
BRAXTON LEDDY, elected by 112 votes out of 142 cast,
being a clear majority of the votes
cast in the Primary Election.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of August, A. D. 1961.
