Resolution 10630 RESOLUTION NO. 10630
WHEREAS the agreement by and between Gertrude Gleason
and the City of Miami Beach for the operation of the
concession known as the "Normandy Shores Golf Course Pro Shop
Concession" expired on the 30th day of September, 1961, and
WHEREAS the said Gertrude Gleason has offered to enter
into a new agreement with the City of Miami Beach for the
operation of said concession for a three year period
commencing at the expiration of the said pre-existing agreement
for a total consideration of $22, 387.50, representing an increased
consideration of $1, 000.00 per annum over the previous consider-
ation, and
WHEREAS the said Gertrude Gleason, in addition to the
foregoing offered additional consideration has also offered a
reduction in the existing summer cart fees, all as more fully
set forth in the agreement hereinafter referred to, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate
agreement setting forth the terms of said proposed agreement,
the provisions of which agreement are familiar to the City
Council, and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to the best interest
of the City and its citizens to accept said proposal and to
enter into an agreement embodying the terms thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and deliver said agreement for and on behalf of the
City of Miami Beach.
