Resolution 10643 RESOLUTION NO. 10643
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, feels that the Civil Aeronautics Board
is the proper federal agency to determine the merits
of need and economic feasibility of the pending appli-
cation for a permanent certification of Northeast
Airlines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Miami
Beach City Council is in favor of adequate air service
between Miami Beach and New York and all other cities,
and calls upon the Civil Aeronautics Board to use its
power to insure improved and progressive air service
from New York to Miami, thus insuring the economic wel-
fare and growth of this area.
