SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-259 DISTRICT SK-259
WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution passed and
adopted on the 15th day of November, 1961, ordered the
Sidewalk Improvement SK-259, District SK-259, and the
City Engineer has prepared and filed with the CityClerk
plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
that the City Council would on the 6th day of December, 1961,
at the City Hall in said City at 11:00 o'clock A.M. , receive
and hear objections of all persons interested to the confirm-
ation of said resolution ordering said improvement, and the
objection presented having been heard and considered at the
time and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said
City Council ordering said Sidewalk Improvement SK-259,
District SK-259, be and the same is hereby confirmed, and the
City Council does hereby declare its intention to levy a
special assessment against the lands comprising said District
SK-259 to cover part of the cost and expenses of said improve-
ment, and for the purpose of advancing such costs and expenses,
$2, 710.40 is hereby appropriated from Current Fund, said Fund
to be reimbursed to the extent of the proceeds of said special
assessment, and the City Council hereby declares its intention
to proceed with such improvement with contract.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of December, A.D. , 1961.
