RESOLUTION NO. 10662
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the
inhabitants thereof to acquire for public park purposes that
certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, described as follows, to wit :
All of Block Four (4) and all of Block
Thirteen (13) of Altos Del Mar No. 1,
according to the Corrected Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 31, at page 40, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
and all of that portion of Airoso Way, as
shown on said Plat, lying between said
Block 4 and said Block 13, together with
all statutory and common law riparian rights
appurtenant to said lands;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ANDIECLARED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary
that the fee simple title to the above described property be
acquired for development, use and maintenance for public park
purposes for the benefit of said City and the inhabitants thereof,
and that the City Attorney be and he is hereby axthorized and
directed to institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name
of said City in the exercise of its right of eminent domain for
the condemnation of said property for public park purposes .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December, A.D. , 1961.
