RESOLUTION NO. 10673
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, on April 11, 1960,
entered into an agreement with JOHN A. HEALEY, JR. , for a period
of one year, whereby the said JOHN A. HEALEY, JR. agreed to
serve the City as Convention Assistant, said agreement having
thereafter been renewed and extended for an additional period
terminating at thidnight on October 17, 1961; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be for the best interest of the City of Miami Beach
that said agreement, as renewed, be extended and renewed for
an additional period of one year, commencing October 18, 1961
and terminating at midnight on October 17, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a renewal
agreement, the City Council being familiar with the terms and
conditions thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said renewal agreement for and in behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, and the disbursing officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to make the expenditures required in
accordance with the terms of said agreement out of funds of the
City available for such purpose.
