Resolution 10754 RESOLUTION NO. 10754
WHEREAS Lyric Opera of Florida has been duly chartered
as a non-profit organization, and
WHEREAS the people of the City of Miami Beach have
heretofore manifested, and will continue to evince an ardent
enthusiasm for the advancement of the cultural life of the
community, and
WHEREAS the expressed purpose and object of said Lyric
Opera is in harmony with the desire of the Miami Beach
community to further advance the cultural life thereof and
that of the entire County of Dade,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach for and on behalf of said City, in
recognition and appreciation of the laudable aims, objects,
and purposes of said Lyric Opera organization does hereby
sponsor and support the same, and commends the organization
to the favor of all public-spirited and culturally minded
citizens of the community of the City of Miami Beach and
that of the County of Dade.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of May , 1962.
