BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, that the State Board of Conservation be, and it is
hereby, respectfully requested to instruct its Director, and
his agents forthwith to conduct, with State funds, a survey
and investigation of, and report upon the effect of the con-
struction and operation of an oil refinery in Dade County
upon the natural resources of the State, including air, water,
wild life, fisheries, the preservation of which are vital to
the public health, safety and general welfare of the inhabi-
tants of the State of Florida, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this
Resolution be transmitted to each member of the Board for
his most earnest consideration and support hereof.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 1962.
