Resolution 10777 RESOLUTION NO. 10777
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and
the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for street widening pur-
poses, for the use of said City and its inhabitants, the
following described land situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit :
A portion of Lot 1, Block 11 of ALTON
BEACH REALTY COMPANY' S ISLAND VIEW
SUBDIVISION, recorded in Plat Book 6,
Page 115 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida bounded as follows .
Commencing at the intersection of the
Westerly boundary line of the said
Lot 1 with the Southerly boundary of
19th Street one hundred sixty-four
and sixty-five one hundredths (164.65)
feet to the Point of Curvature of a
circular curve deflecting to the right,
said curve having for its elements a
radius of sixteen and fifty-two one
hundredths (16.52) feet and a central
angle of one hundred fifty degrees,
thirty-seven minutes, twenty-four
seconds (.150°-37 ' -24") said Point of
Curvature being the Point of Beginning
of the Portion of Lot 1 herein described:
Thence run Southerly along the arc of
the above described circular curve forty-
three and forty-three one hundredths
(43 .43) feet to the Point of Tangency of
said curve on the Southerly boundary line
of the said Lot 1;
Thence run Easterly along the Southerly
boundary line of said Lot 1 fifteen and
ninety-eight one hundredths (15 .98) feet
to the Point of Curvature of a circular
curve deflecting to the left said curve
having for its elements a radius of twelve
and thirty-three one hundredths (12.33)
feet and a central angle of one hundred
fifty degrees, thirty-seven minutes,
twenty-four seconds (1500-37 ' -24") ;
Thence run Northerly along the arc of said
circular curve thirty-two and forty-one
one hundredths (32.41) feet to the point
of tangency of said curve on the aforesaid
Southerly boundary of 19th Street;
Thence run Westerly along the said Southerly
boundary of 19th Street fifteen and ninety-
eight one hundredths (15 .98) feet to the
Point of Beginning. Containing three hundred
two (302) square feet more or less.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above described
property be acquired for use and maintenance for street
widening purposes for the benefit of said City and its in-
habitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary
legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise
of the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said
property for said purpose.
