RESOLUTION NO. 10790
WHEREAS, it has come to the knowledge of the City Council
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Federal Housing Administration
is now considering and will in the future consider various
applications for its approval of apartment houses to be con-
structed in Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is presently greatly concerned
because of the many vacancies in the apartment houses already
existing and because it appears that the City is already over-
built with this type of housing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Federal Housing Administration be
and it is hereby requested to give particular attention to the
present economic conditions in said City before approving the
construction of additional apartment houses .
