Resolution 10802 RESOLUTION NO. 10802 WHEREAS, Agreements have been heretofore prepared by the terms of which various hotel operators of the City of Miami Beach, in consideration of benefits which will accrue to such operators, have agreed to pay over to the City an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the gross room revenue accruing to the operators from conventions booked and held in said City, and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of said agreements and deems it to be to the best interest of the City that said agreements be entered into, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute in the name of and on behalf of said City the said agreements which are as follows : AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Max Groso for the Fontana Hotel, for the period extending from September 1, 1962 to August 31, 1965 ; AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Sterling Levine for the Montmartre Hotel, for the period extending from September 1, 1962 to August 31, 1965 ; AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Leo Gross for the Moulin Rouge Motel, for the period extending from September 1, 1962 to ...ugust 31, 1965 ; AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and George Waas for the Garden of Allah, for the period extending from September 1, 1962 to August 31, 1965 ; AGREEMENT between the City of Miami Beach and Larry Friedman for the Dorset Hotel, for the period extending from September 1, 1962 to August 31, 1965 .
