Resolution 10810 RESOLUTION NO. 10810
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is in accord with the
purpose and intent of the Florida Unemployment Compensation
Law, and
WHEREAS, it is the considered determination of the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach that the achievement of the
objectives of said ameliorative legislation as set forth in
Section 443 .02, Chapter 443, Florida Statutes, 1961 may be
more readily achieved by and through the establishment and
maintenance of a branch State Unemployment Office in an appro-
priate and convenient location in the City of Miami Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Florida Industrial
Commission be and it is hereby respectfully petitioned by the
City of Miami Beach to establish at the earliest possible time
and thereafter maintain a branch State Unemployment Office
within the City of Miami Beach so as to meet the reasonable
requirements and needs of the residents of the City of Miami
Beach, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, that certified copies of this Resolution be
transmitted by the City Clerk to the Florida Industrial Commission
and the Honorable Governor of the State of Florida for appropriate
action in the premises .
