A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE
CORPS OF ENGINEERS, U. S. ARMY, FOR A PERMIT TO PLACE FILL
ALONG THE EASTERLY SIDE OF INDIAN CREEK FROM THE SOUTHERLY
LINE OF LOT 1, PRODUCED WESTERLY, TO THE NORTHERLY LINE OF
LOT 231, PRODUCED WESTERLY, OF FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
THAT V. W. SILLS, City Engineer, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to make application to the Corps of Engineers,
U. S. Army, for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
for a permit to place fill in said City along the easterly side of
Indian Creek from the southerly line of Lot 1 of First Ocean Front
Subdivision, produced westerly, to the northerly line of Lot 231 of
said subdivision, produced westerly, said fill to vary in width from
approximately 70 feet at the southerly end thereof to approximately
125 feet at the northerly end thereof.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of February, A.D.
1963 .
