Resolution 10937 RESOLUTION NO. 10937
WHEREAS a certain group or association styling itself
as the American Nazi Party has achieved immeasurable odium
throughout the nation because of theses, practices, and
doctrines that are the antithesis of American democracy,
and
WHEREAS it has come to the attention of the City Council
that said so-called American Nazi Party has announced an
intent to open headquarters within the City of Miami Beach,
and
WHEREAS the County of Dade and the City of Miami have
had actual experience with the obnoxious practices of said
organization or group and, as a result, have determined,
that action must be taken to deter, and to prohibit the
repetition or continuance of such practices,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami
Beach, and its Police and Legal Departments lend every aid,
assistance and cooperation to the County of Dade, and the
City of Miami in elimination and extirpation of the odious
and reprehensible practices of said group or organization.
