A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE CORPS
OF ENGINEERS, U. S. ARMY, FOR PERMISSION TO LAY
SUBMARINE WATER MAINS ON THE NORTH BAY CAUSEWAY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That 0. M. Pushkin, City Manager for said City, be and
he is hereby directed and authorized to make application to
the Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, for a permit to lay a
20" diameter submarine water main south of and parallel to
the existing flat concrete bridge on North Bay Causeway,
commonly called 79th Street Causeway, and west of Harbor
Island in North Bay Village; and also a 20" submarine
main south of and parallel to the flat concrete bridge
just west of Treasure Island in North Bay Village, and
to make such application in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, or in his name as representative of said city.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1963.
