Resolution 10962 RESOLUTION NO. 10962 WHEREAS the United States Department of Interior has expressed its willingness to conduct an investigation, without cost to Dade County, into the dangers and hazards of pollution and to priceless natural resources posed by the construction of an oil refinery in Dade County, if but Dade County makes such request, and WHEREAS Dade County inexplicably has yet to make such request, and WHEREAS such study is imperative and of the greatest urgency, and of transcendent importance to all, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that for itself and for and on behalf of its residents and citizens that formal request be made upon the Honorable Stewart Udall, by this Resolution, to forthwith launch such study and that the Metropolitan Dade County Commission be urged to join in this resolution.
