Resolution 10993 RESOLUTION NO. 10993
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the inhabitants
thereof, to acquire, for public park purposes, the following
described lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 8, according to the
corrected Plat of ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1, as
recorded in Plat Book 31, Page 40 , of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the
fee simple title to all of the above described property be acquired
for development, use and maintenance for public park purposes, for
the benefit of said City and its inhabitants , and that the City
Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to institute
the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said City in the
exercise of its right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said
property for public park purposes .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of May, A. D. , 1963 .
