Resolution 10994 RESOLUTION NO. 10994
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the inhabitants
thereof, to acquire, for public off-street parking purposes, the
following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 9, according to the corrected
Plat of ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1, as recorded in Plat Book
31, Page 40 , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida; and
The following portion of Airoso Way as shown on Plat
of Altos Del Mar No. 1, recorded in plat book 4 at
page 157 of the public records of Dade County, Florida
(said Airoso Way being now known as Atlantic Way) :
Begin at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, in Block 9 of
Altos Del Mar No. 1, as shown on said plat; thence
South along the East line of said lot 1 and along the
East line of the Nz of Lot 2 , in said Block 9, the
same being the West line of Airoso Way as shown on
said plat, to the Southeast corner of the N% of said
Lot 2 in said Block 9; thence East along the East
extension of the South boundary line of the Nz of said
lot 2 in said block 9 , to a point midway between the
West boundary line and the East boundary line of
Airoso Way as shown on said plat; thence South on a
line running equidistant from the said West boundary
line and the East boundary line of said Airoso Way
as shown on said Plat to a point of intersection with
the west extension of the south boundary line of Lot
2 , in Block 8 of said Altos Del Mar No. 1, according
to said plat recorded in plat book 4 at page 157 of
said public records; thence East along the said West
extension of the South boundary line of said lot 2
in said block 8 to the Southwest corner of said lot
2 , in said block 8; thence north along the west line
of said lot 2 , in said block 8 and along the west
line of lot 1 in said block 8, the same being the
east line of Airoso Way as shown on said plat, to the
Northwest corner of said Lot 1 in said block 8; thence
west along the south line of Bougainvillea Street, as
shown on said plat (now known as 76th Street) to the
point of beginning; and
The following portion of Airoso Way as shown on Plat
of ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1, recorded in plat book 4, at
page 157 of the public records of Dade County,
Florida, (said Airoso Way being now known as Atlantic
Way) :
Begin at the SE corner of the N1 of lot 2 , in Block 9
of ALTOS DEL MAR #1, as shown on said plat; thence
east along the east extension of the south boundary
line of the N1 of said lot 2 , in said Block 9, to a
point midway between the west boundary line and the

east boundary line of Airoso Way as shown on said plat;
thence south on a line running equidistant from the said
west boundary line and the east boundary line of said
Airoso Way as shown on said Plat to the point of inter-
section with the east extension of the south boundary
line of lot 3 in Block 9 of said Altos Del Mar #1, as
shown on said plat, said point of intersection being on
the north line of Allamanda Street as shown on said Plat
(now known as 75th Street) ; thence west along the east
extension of the south boundary line of said lot 3 in
said Block 9, being the north line of Allamanda Street
as shown on said plat (now known as 75th Street) to the
SE corner of said lot 3 , in said Block 9; thence north
along the east line of said lot 3, in Block 9, and along
the east line of the Sy of lot 2 in said Block 9, the
same being the west line of Airoso Way as shown on said
Plat, to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to all of the above described property be acquired for
public off-street parking purposes for the benefit of the said City
and its inhabitants, and that the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal proceedings
in the name of said City in the exercise of its right of eminent
domain for the condemnation of the said property, for public
off-street parking purposes .
