Resolution 10995 RESOLUTION NO. 10995
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been advised that the
late Edwin Jowett has bequeathed to the City of
Miami Beach certain valuable paintings to be
displayed in the Miami Beach Library, and
WHEREAS, these beautiful paintings will not
only add to the decor of our Library, but will
be most advantageously displayed for the pleasure
and enjoyment of the general public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that
the said City Council accepts these paintings with
deep and sincere thanks and appreciation, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this
resolution be sent to the family of the late Edwin
Jowett as a token of the Council' s appreciation.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1963.
