Resolution 10996 RESOLUTION NO. 10996
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Council repeat and reiterate its
previous formal request to the Metropolitan Transit Authority
that the latter agency defer any action on its proposal to
increase intra-city bus rates in the City of Miami Beach from
fifteen (15) cents to twenty (20) cents until the said Transit
Authority has held a public hearing in the City of Miami Beach
at which time and place the City of Miami Beach will be afforded
an opportunity to demonstrate, by expert witnesses that the
proposed increase is unnecessary, unjustifiable, and inequitable.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 1963 .
