Resolution 12256 RESOLUTION NOe 12256 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach has been petitioned for the replacement of a traffic signal at the intersection of First Street and Ocean Drive, and also for the installation of a traffic signal at Tenth Street and West Avenue, and also for the installation of a pedestrian traffic signal in approximately the middle of the block of Washington Avenue between Ninth and Tenth Streets, in the City of Miami Beach; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach has found and determined that the need for such traffic signals is imperative and that the public safety demands the installation of the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the appropriate Metropolitan Dade County authorities be and they are hereby requested to install the appropriate traffic signals at the locations hereinabove set forth, and that such installations be made with all reasonable dispatch. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that copies of this resolution be transmitted by the City Clerk and Finance Director of the City of Miami Beach to the appropriate officials of Metropolitan Dade County, including members of the Metropolitan Dade County Board of Commissioners and the County Manager.
