SUBJECT: Opening of Art Deco Artisan Market (Lummus Artisanal Park)
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to provide you with an update on the Lummus Park
Artisanal Market. As recommended in the Ocean Drive Task Force Report , we are pleased to
announce the opening of the Art Deco Artisan Market on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 AM .
The weekly market will feature a curated selection of handcrafted items with a special spotlight on
local artisans. The market will be open to the public every Saturday (except when special events
conflict), from 11 am till 7 pm , on the serpentine walkway along Ocean Drive starting at 14th Place
in Lummus Park.
Operated by Metro Flea Miami, the Art Deco Artisan Market will bring together local artisans
offering unique , one of a kind items that will enhance the Ocean Drive experience as well as the
surrounding community. We invite everyone to come out and support this new and vital addition to
the Ocean Drive experience .
