Resolution 11226 RESOLUTION NO. 11226
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida was heretofore
duly issued, by the U. S . Corps of Engineers, a permit for the
bulkheading and filling of a certain tract of submerged land
in Biscayne Bay north of DiLido Island, said tract being
commonly known as Pelican Island, and
WHEREAS, City of Miami Beach, Florida, the owner of said
land, desires that said tract be extended and enlarged, as
shown by the sketch attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach desires to have said
permit re-issued to cover said enlarged tract, as shown by
said sketch,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Frank Aymonin, the
City Engineer of the City of Miami Beach, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to apply to said Corps of Engineers
for said permit, for and in the name of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1964.
