HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-479 Seventy-ninth (79) Terrace from Crespi Boulevard to
Hawthorne Avenue to be paved, and where heretofore paved
to be repaved to a width of Thirty-nine (39) feet with
a bituminous wearing surface on a Ten (10) inch rock
base , and improved on both sides with concrete curb
and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets , man-
holes and catch basins .
As said Terrace , Boulevard and Avenue are shown on Plat
recorded in Plat Book Forty-four (44) , Page Sixty-seven
(67) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the ex-
penses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintend-
ence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and esti-
mates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the pre-
paration of bonds , interest during construction , legal services , ab-
stracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-479 and is des-
cribed as follows :
All of the Lots or Parcels of land abutting on
Seventy-ninth (79) Terrace and lying between Crespi
Boulevard and Hawthorne Avenue°
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-479 and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be de-
signated as District H-479.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 3rd DAY OF June, A.D. 1964.
