BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, that Metropolitan Dade County be and it is
hereby requested, commencing with the forthcoming fiscal year,
to take over, assume the responsibility for, and perform for
the citizens and residents of the City of Miami Beach, under
appropriate and equitable arrangements where transfer of
property or equipment is involved or are otherwise necessary,
the following services presently being rendered by the City
of Miami Beach at costs budgeted for 1963-1964 as hereinafter
set forth:
SOCIAL SERVICE:
Funds for hospital care of indigents not otherwise
provided by State or County.
Mt . Sinai subsidy $37,500 .00
St . Francis subsidy 37,500 .00
Medical care 70,350 .00 (1963-64 Budget)
Total $ 145,350 .00

Waste Collection and Disposal $ 878, 787 .00
Trimmings Collection and Disposal $ 257, 899.00

Street Lighting $ 230,585 .00
