RESOLUTION NO. 11250
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida", so
as to remove from that area or district in the City of Miami
Beach bounded on the north by Lincoln Road, on the east by
the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by Government Cut, and on
the west by Biscayne Bay, the existing limitation upon
heights of buildings to eight stories, and to place all of
such area or district, or such portion thereof as the City
Council shall deem proper, into such appropriate height dis-
trict or districts as the same are set forth and defined in
Section l6C of said Ordinance No. 289,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on the 15th day of
July, 1964, at 11:30 o' clock A. M. in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of
said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by public notice
thereof, published in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper
of general circulation in said City .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1964.
