The Youth Commission would like you to be aware of the following motions requesting support for
youth safety informational sessions and school involvement in the #plasticfreeMB program,
approved at the November 13, 2018 Youth Commission meeting.

Motion Text:
The Youth Commission requests the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission facilitate a
professional and informative series of student sessions regarding the presence of an armed
school resource officer on public high school campuses in Miami Beach to develop the
relationship and procedures.
The Youth Commission urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.
