Resolution 11348 RESOLUTION NO. 11348
WHEREAS, under the Federal Workable Program for
Community Improvement, it is recommended that there be con-
stituted a Citizens Advisory Committee and that said Com-
mittee be community wide and representative in scope, and
WHEREAS, the citizen membership of the existing
Board heretofore created and known as the "Planning Board"
meets all the requisites for membership in such Citizens
Advisory Committee, and will perform the duties and
functions thereof with great credit,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said
"Planning Board" be and the same is hereby designated as
the "Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Improvement"
with the membership thereof and the tenure of each member
thereof to be unchanged, provided, however, that the Mayor,
the City Manager, the City Engineer and the Assistant City
Manager shall not be a member of such Citizens Advisory
Committee, and that said "Citizens Advisory Committee"
shall perform the duties and responsibilities which devolve
on such committee under the Workable Program for Community
Improvement.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1964.
