Resolution 11349 RESOLUTION NO. 11349 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for the purpose of off-street parking of automobiles for the use of said City and its inhabi- tants the following described parcel of land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit: Lots 23, 24 and 25 of FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, according to the amended plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9, at Page 78 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; and also That certain parcel of land lying between Collins Avenue and Indian Creek Westerly of Lots 23, 24 and 25 of FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, bounded as follows, to wit: Bounded on the Southerly side by the Southerly line of Outlot 23 of said subdivision produced Westerly; bounded on the Northerly side by the Northerly line of Outlot 25 of said subdivision produced Westerly; boundedon the Westerly side by a portion of the line described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of Lot 23 of said subdivision produced Westerly, and 161 feet Westerly of the Easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured along the Southerly line of said Lot 23 produced Westerly; thence run Northerly to a point on the Northerly line of Lot 231 of said subdivision produced Westerly, and 278 feet Westerly of the Easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured along the Northerly line of said Lot 231 produced Westerly; bounded on the Easterly side by a line parallel to, and 31 feet Easterly of, the above described Westerly boundary. As said subdivision, outlots, Collins Avenue and Indian Creek are shown on the amended plat of FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION of the Miami Beach Bay Shore Company, recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 78, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary that the fee simple title to the above described property be acquired for use and maintenance for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants, ' and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said parcel for said purpose.
