Resolution 11360 RESOLUTION NO. 11360
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida is considering amending the provisions of Ordinance No.
289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida" , relating to the requirements for providing, in
connection with every building hereafter erected, constructed,
reconstructed or structurally altered, permanent parking spaces
throughout the life of the building, for various types of occu-
pancy, so as to require either by a fixed ratio of parking
spaces for each living unit or type of occupancy, or by a ratio
of parking spaces for each living unit or type of occupancy in
relation to the percentage of lot coverage by a particular
building, or by a combination of such methods; and further to
amend said Ordinance by defining a hotel room for purposes of
determining parking requirements; also, the provisions relating
to the dimensions, design, construction, location and landscaping
of required parking spaces; also the provisions relating to the
location and dimensions of curb cuts; also the provisions
relating to underground parking, and the projection above grade
and into side and rear yards of structures in connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and the
same is hereby called to be held on the 17th day of February,
1965, at 12 o' clock Noon in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said
amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, pub-
lished in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
