HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-486 Court between Lenox Avenue and Michigan Avenue from 12th Street to
approximately 622' North of 14th Street to be paved and where here-
tofore paved to be repaved to a width of 20' with a bituminous
wearing surface on an 811 rock base.
As said Court is shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 81
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Lenox
Avenue and Michigan Avenue are named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction,
legal services , abstracts etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H- 486 and
is described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Court
between Lenox Avenue and Michigan Avenue and lying between 12th
Street and a point approximately 622' North of 14th Street
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H- 486 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for thee cost thereof shall
be designated as District H- 486
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF April, A.D. 1965.
