HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-487 Alley between 71st Street and Normandy Drive from Rue Bordeaux
to Rue Notre Dame to be paved and where heretofore paved to be
repaved to a width of 20 with a bituminous wearing surface on
an 8" rock Kase.
As said Court, Drive and Streets are shown on Plats recorded in
Plat Book 25, Page 60 and Plat Book 40, Page 35 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said 71st Street is
named and designated in Ordinance No. 982 and as said Normandy
Drive is named and designated in Ordinance No. 538
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during constructions
legal services , abstracts etc. , and any other expenses necessary ane
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amcunt to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H- 487 and
is described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the alley
between 71st Street and Normandy Drive from Rue Bordeaux
to Rue Notre Dame.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-487 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H- 487 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF April, A.D. 1965.
