WftITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIL
That the construction of tha following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Char-
ter:
WT4. 137 Both sides of Bay Road from one-half block South
of 15 Street to Lincoln Road to be improved with
a whiteway lighting system of ornamental posts
and lamps at approximately 130' apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Roads and Street are shown on Plats recorded
in Plat Book 4, Page 125; Plat Book 6, Page 166;
Plat Book 16, Page 1, Plat Book 49 , Page 100 and
Plat Book 58, Page 86 of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction,
legal services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed sgainst each front foot
of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW- 137 and

is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Bay Road from one-half block South of 15 Street
to Lincoln Road.
In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property
the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such
portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total
cost as the length of the street intersections bears to the total
street frontage within the district.
The Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-137 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
he designated as District WW- 137.
