SUBJECT: Sustainability Committee Motion on Future Beverage Sponsor
Dear Mayor and Honorable City Commission:
The Sustainability Committee met on September 25, 2018 and passed the
motion below:
• Motion to incorporate language in the future beverage sponsor contract
requiring the selected organization to provide single-use plastic bottles
with a permanently tethered cap design.
As an Advisory Committee, we sincerely ask that consideration be given to the
above motion.
