Resolution 11525 RESOLUTION NO. 11525
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is the owner of
that certain premises known as the Municipal Pier located
at Biscayne Street and the Atlantic Ocean, and
WHEREAS, Washington Federal Savings and Loan
Association desires to utilize the said Pier on July
4, 1965 for the purpose of a fireworks display, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agree-
ment for the lease of the premises with the terms of which
the City Council is familiar, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests
of the said City and its inhabitants to enter into the
said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby duly directed and
authorized to execute the said agreement for ardin the
name of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 1965 .
