Resolution 11530 RESOLUTION NO. 11530 BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City of Miami Beach is opposed to the enactment of House Bill No. 1410 pertaining to license taxes upon merchandise vending machines and limiting City occu- pational licenses upon the operators thereof to a maximum of $25.00, for the reason that the same is contrary to the best interests of the City of Miami Beach, its residents and. citizens, and for the further reason that the enactment of said Bill into law would result in substantial diminution of revenue to the City and create the necessity for an increase in ad valorem taxes . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to each member of the Dade County delegation to the Legislature of the State of Florida, and that they be urged to oppose the enactment of said Bill into law.
