RESOLUTION NO. 11531
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CERTIFICATE OF THE
CITY CLERK AS TO THE NUMBER OF FREEHOLDERS
QUALIFIED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SPECIAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON JUNE 1, 1965.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 100.241 of Florida Statutes,
1963, the City Clerk, as Supervisor of Registration, in and for
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has determined from the records
of his office the number of freeholders appearing on the regis-
tration books and has executed his Certificate to the effect that
6793 freeholders are qualified to participate in the
Special Bond Election ordered by the City Council of said City
of Miami Beach to be held on the 1st day of June, 1965 , and
WHEREAS , said City Clerk, as Supervisor of Registration,
has prepared a list of qualified electors appearing on the regis-
tration books of said City who are determined to be freeholders
residing in said City of Miami Beach and entitled to participate
in said election; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of said City of Miami Beach has
examined said Certificate and said list;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That said list of freeholders who are qualified
electors so submitted by the City Clerk, as Supervisor
of Registration, be and the same is hereby approved in all respects.
SECTION 2: That it is hereby found, ascertained, determined and
declared that in making up said list of qualified
freeholders such investigation has been made as warrants the con-
clusion that all names appearing on said list are qualified to vote
in said election and that said list is a complete list of all
electors who are qualified to vote in such election as of this date.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of said City of Miami Beach
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish to the
Clerks and Inspectors at every voting place where said election

is to be held, a copy of said list of qualified freeholders residing
in said City who are entitled to participate in said Special Election.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 31st day of May, 1965.
