Resolution 11538 RESOLUTION NO. 11538
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the prevention of beach erosion is
a matter of most serious concern and of paramount importance
to the City of Miami Beach, in common with all ocean front
communities and that the problems involved are manifestly of
such magnitude as to transcend municipal boundaries, and
therefore is a matter of primary state concern, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH that the State Legislature be and it is hereby
urged to appropriate the necessary funds therefore in accord-
ance with the provisions of Senate Bill No. 380 and House
Bill No. 1028 presently pending, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution
be transmitted forthwith to each member of the Legislature
from Dade County.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1965 .
