HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-508 H-508
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-508 Court between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue from
80 Street to 81 Street to be paved and where hereto-
fore paved to be repaved to a width of 20' with a
bituminous wearing surface on an 8" rock base.
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets ,
manholes and catch basins.
As said Court , Avenues and Streets are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book 8 , Page 41, and Plat Book 31 ,
Page 40 of the Public Records of Dade County , Florida
and as said Harding Avenue , 80 Street and 81 Street
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , interest during construction, legal services , abstracts
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-508 and is
described as follows :
All of the lots and parcels of land abutting on the
Court between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue and
lying between 80 Street and 81 Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-508 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-508.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF June, A.D. 1965 .
