Resolution 11553 RESOLUTION NO. 11553
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, desires to renew the current agreement for the
services of Hank Meyer as Public Relations Consultant to
the City of Miami Beach at an annual salary of $12,600
payable in equal semi-monthly installments, and the ser-
vices of the Public Relations Firm of Hank Meyer Associates,
Inc., at the sum of $20,000 annually payable in equal month-
ly installments for a period of two years commencing October
1, 1965 and ending September 30, 1967, and
WHEREAS, in addition to the participation of Hank Meyer
and the participation of the staff members of Hank Meyer As-
sociates, Inc., in its New York City and Miami Beach offices,
Hank Meyer Associates, Inc. , has two full time writers at
the Miami Beach News Bureau at salaries of $125 per week and
$150 per week respectively, and car allowances of $35 per
month for each writer, which salaries and car allowances are
reimbursed by the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, the said Hank Meyer has by a communication to
the City Manager of the City of Miami Beach dated June 9,
1965, presented his desire to renew the aforesaid agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the current agree-
ment for the services of Hank Meyer as Public Relations Con-
sultant and for the services of the firm of Hank Meyer As-
sociates, Inc. , be and it is hereby renewed for the two year
period commencing October 1, 1965 and ending September 30,
1967 .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1965.

THE MIAMI BEACH NEWS BUREAU, ON A CONTRACTUAL BASIS, TO OCCUPY POSITIONS PREVIOUSLY
HELD BY CIVIL SERVICE PERSONNEL. THESE WRITERS, AL WOLFE AND ALDO RODRIGUEZ,
CURRENTLY RECEIVE WEEKLY SALARIES OF $125 AND $150 RESPECTIVELY ... AND, AT YOUR
f'f REQUEST, THEY ARE PAID BY HANK MEYER ASSOCIATES -- WHICH, IN TURN, BILLS THE CITY
FOR REIMBURSEMENT.
THEY ALSO RECEIVE CAR ALLOWANCES OF $35 A MONTH, P/ ID BY HANK MEYER ASSOCIATES,
ON THE SAME BASIS AS THEIR SALARIES.
