Resolution 11554 RESOLUTION NO. 11554
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, " as the
same applies to the following parcels of land situate in the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, and described as follows:
All those parcels of land presently in
Height District No. 5, as said Height Dis-
trict is set forth and described in said
Ordinance, and which lie in that area of
the City of Miami Beach which is bounded
on the North by the Southerly line of Lin-
coln Road, on the West by Biscayne Bay, on
the South by Government Cut, and on the
East by the Atlantic Ocean.
in the following particulars :
1. By excluding all or some of the parcels of land herein-
above described from said Height District No. 5 and to include
the same in such other Height District set forth and described in
said Ordinance, as shall be found and determined by the City
Council to be appropriate.
2 . By increasing, decreasing or otherwise modifying exist-
ing requirements as to size of yards, courts and other open
spaces .
3. By prescribing the percentage of lot or lot area that
may be occupied and by regulating and limiting the density of use
or the concentration of population thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a public hearing be and the
same is hereby called to be held on the 21st day of July, 1965
at 11:00 o' clock A.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, pub-
lished in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
