Resolution 11583 RESOLUTION NO. 11583 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, " so as to delete from Section 16-B thereof pertaining to parking regula- tions, all provisions or requirements set forth therein that the parking spaces required thereby shall not be separated from the parcel of land for which the parking spaces are required by any street or alley, and to further amend said Section by adding thereto the following: "Parking spaces to comply must be hard sur- faced and not less than 160 square feet in area each, with clear access thereto (the area needed for clear access thereto to be in addition to the 160 square feet required for each parking space aforesaid) and shall be located on the same property as the main building, or on property contiguous thereto or situated conveniently near, but not to exceed a distance of 800 feet therefrom; provided, however, that before such parking facilities are approved, it shall be re- quired that a recordable instrument be properly executed for the alternate facility, setting forth that said lot or parcel shall not be utilized for any subsequent use other than parking of automobiles for the subject property to which it is attached; and provided further, that said recordable instrument shall be filed, as a matter of record, in the Building Department of the City of Miami Beach, and with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dade County, Florida. " / NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 1st day of September , 1965 at 11:00 o'clock A .M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, pub- lished in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
