Resolution 11617 RESOLUTION NO. 11617
WHEREAS, in order for the City of Miami Beach to conform
with certain requirements in applying for Federal financial
assistance, with respect to damages inflicted by Hurricane
I "Betsy", it is necessary to designate an authorized represen-
tative of the said City to execute the Project Application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that O. M. Pushkin, City
Manager of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and he is
hereby authorized to execute, for and in behalf of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, a public entity established under
the laws of the State of Florida, the Project Application
to the Governor of the State of Florida for certain Federal
financial assistance as set out under the Federal Disaster
Act (Public Law 875, 81st Congress; 42 U.S.C. 1855-1855g) .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 1965.
